Superintendent Der-Yang Cho attributes this milestone to a multidisciplinary model that bridges clinical experience with research. A central pillar of this strategy is the CAR001 clinical trial, an allogeneic CAR gamma delta T-cell therapy developed alongside Ever Supreme Bio Technology. While the treatment remains investigational, early results in patients with recurrent glioblastoma have shown significant functional recovery and tumor stabilization. Building on these outcomes, the hospital is now expanding its regenerative medicine pipeline to target neurodegenerative conditions, including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
