Each entry should feature the creator using their thumbs and index fingers to form a square frame—a symbolic nod to both protective shelter and the historic outlines of ancient walled cities.
Submissions must be sent by 11:59 p.m. Beijing Time on October 14 via Douyin or the official campaign email. Selected works will be integrated into a feature film presented during the October 31 opening ceremony in Fujian. Whether documenting personal stories or architectural shifts, the goal is to highlight the human side of sustainable urban development as the UN-designated day returns for its annual spotlight on global city life.
