Executive Chairman and CEO Diane Garrett confirmed that the company is weighing two primary processing pathways for its sulfide resources: pressure oxidation and roasting. The latter remains a point of interest due to its potential to generate sulfuric acid as a secondary revenue stream. To support these technical evaluations, Hycroft has engaged RESPEC Company LLC for conceptual mine planning and Hatch Ltd. to assess recovery alternatives, with metallurgical testing currently underway at Hazen Research.
Operational expansion is also gaining momentum. The company expects to deploy two additional core drill rigs in the fourth quarter to accelerate exploration across the Brimstone and Vortex targets. Alongside these technical milestones, the firm has refreshed its brand identity and corporate communications platform to better align with its ongoing transition from exploration to potential production. These efforts are backed by a reorganized board and leadership team tasked with securing the highest economic value from the asset for shareholders.
