The collaboration integrates CMTS’s fleet of over 250 vehicles into the hospital's support network, facilitating everything from interfacility transfers to specialized organ transportation. For Harrington Hospital, the move is intended to ensure that patients across more than 25 communities in Massachusetts and Connecticut maintain reliable access to inpatient, emergency, and outpatient care.
Alex Theoharidis, CEO of CMTS, stated that the organization remains focused on maintaining high standards of patient care as it scales its operations. Chris Canniff, vice president of administration at Harrington Hospital, emphasized that such partnerships are vital for sustaining local healthcare delivery.
To support this growth, the organization is actively recruiting EMTs and paramedics in Southbridge and Sturbridge. Since its founding in 2013, the company has expanded its workforce to over 1,000 employees, providing services across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and southern New Hampshire.
