The units utilize a patent-pending energy management architecture and bonded e-paper structure to ensure visibility without constant power draw. By leveraging wireless connectivity for content updates, the displays function in isolated locations where traditional electrical grid access is unavailable or cost-prohibitive. Claudio Borrello, Business Director of Display Solutions, noted that the design prioritizes compact form factors and seamless integration to meet the specific demands of public transport operators.

Compatibility remains a central focus of the rollout. The hardware integrates directly with the Teleste Hub platform, allowing operators to manage mixed display fleets through a unified interface. For transit agencies relying on legacy software, the company offers dedicated APIs to bridge the new hardware into existing digital ecosystems. These displays will be demonstrated to the public for the first time at InnoTrans 2026 in Hall 2.1, Stand 520.
