Both models feature the optical characteristics synonymous with the G Master series, utilizing three Super ED glass elements and one ED element to minimize chromatic aberration. The internal focus mechanism is driven by two XD Linear Motors, which the manufacturer states are capable of keeping pace with the Alpha 9 III’s 120 fps continuous shooting speeds. Starting this October, the 400mm model will retail for $2,699.99, while the 600mm version will launch at $3,699.99.
