The hospital achieved national recognition across eight specialty programs, including its four primary institutes. Among these, the Neurology and Neurosurgery department earned the highest placement at number 21, securing the top spot in Florida. Other high-performing areas include Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Neonatology, Urology, Cancer, Cardiology, and Behavioral Health. These rankings are based on a rigorous annual survey assessing clinical outcomes, such as patient survival rates and infection prevention, alongside hospital resource quality and expert peer reviews.

Matthew A. Love, president and CEO of Nicklaus Children's Health System, attributed the performance to the collaborative efforts of the hospital’s clinical teams. Randy Harmatz Matott, the system's chief quality officer, emphasized that the institution remains focused on advancing treatment standards and improving patient outcomes. Currently, the 474-bed system operates a broad network of care across South Florida, including partnerships in Naples, Jupiter, and various Broward Health campuses, reinforcing its role as a major provider for specialized pediatric medicine in the region.
