Brighton Jones is scaling its national presence by appointing Garrett Newman and Christopher Budny as lead advisors in California and Florida. The wealth management firm, which oversees $30 billion in assets, aims to embed its proprietary Personal CFO service model into the San Diego and Fort Lauderdale markets.

Garrett Newman joins the San Diego office with over 15 years of industry experience, moving from After-Tax Wealth Management. His background includes prior roles at Fidelity Investments and Prudential Financial, where he developed a focus on comprehensive investment management. Newman will be based at the firm’s office on High Bluff Drive.

In Fort Lauderdale, Christopher Budny will spearhead the firm’s second Florida location, marking the company’s fifth office opening this year. Budny, a Vanguard alumnus, brings a background in business development and client operations to the new site at 100 N Federal Highway. According to Chief Growth Officer Mark Jones, these appointments are part of a broader push to align the firm’s value-based planning philosophy with its expanding geographic reach.
