Venus Williams Brings Court-Inspired Design to Crate & Barrel

Tennis icon Venus Williams is swapping the baseline for the living room, launching a 200-piece collaborative collection with Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids. The line draws heavily from the geometric language and movement of tennis, merging athletic motifs with high-end Italian design sensibilities for both adults and children.

The adult-focused collection leans into the sport’s ceremony and structural precision. A standout piece, the Second Serve Stone and Metal Chandelier, utilizes burnished brass, onyx, and travertine to evoke the suspended arc of a tennis ball mid-serve. Williams describes the aesthetic as an effort to balance architectural rigor with a sense of permanence, aiming for a look that feels both elevated and effortless.

For the younger demographic, the Crate & Kids assortment integrates playfulness with a distinct color palette of lavender and neon green. Designers leaned into spherical motifs, seen in the Break Point Round Ivory Wood play table and the Members Only accent chair. According to Alicia Waters, Brand President of Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids, the collaboration was intended to bridge high-design aspirations with functional living spaces. The full collection is currently available through the company’s retail stores, website, and mobile application.
