In December 2025, Alibi traveled thousands of kilometers to China, marking his first visit to the country for a competition frequently described as the Olympics of his sport. While he sought to emulate his coach's championship success, he encountered Chinese archers Wu Tongyu and Huang Ziyang, who were equally intent on showcasing the traditional Guangqi style on a global stage. The resulting interactions moved beyond athletic rivalry, highlighting personal bonds formed between the competitors during their time in Shenzhen.
Produced by the Shenzhen Media Group International Communication Center, the series arrives during the third anniversary of the Global Civilization Initiative. The production team filmed across nine countries, including Germany, Italy, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan, to capture stories of cultural exchange. By focusing on individual human experiences rather than just tournament results, the documentary aims to demonstrate how mutual appreciation of heritage can transcend borders and foster broader cooperation between nations.
