Weinstein arrives at the Minneapolis-based retailer following a tenure at Hilton, where he served as global chief marketing officer for the hotel group’s 28 brands and its loyalty program. His new mandate focuses on unifying the customer journey, bridging the gap between digital discovery and the physical shopping experience across more than 2,000 stores. Fiddelke highlighted the need to translate consumer insights into more personal, relevant brand interactions to secure the company’s competitive edge.
Beyond brand management, Weinstein is tasked with steering the expansion of Target’s retail media arm, Roundel, and refining the curated Target+ marketplace. He describes the move as an opportunity to build upon the company’s existing footprint by creating distinct, surprise-driven interactions that distinguish the brand in a crowded retail landscape.
