Organizations frequently struggle to manage safety compliance across disparate catalogs and learning systems. SafetyAtlas addresses this by combining a curated marketplace with integrated learning management capabilities, allowing users to procure training, assign modules to teams, and generate compliance reports without navigating multiple vendors. The platform also introduces a Safety Wallet, a digital repository where workers can store and share credentials and training history.
At launch, the platform features contributions from eight charter partners, including the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, Sunbelt Rentals, and Walgreens. These providers offer resources ranging from industrial hygiene courses and simulation-based trades training to vaccination programs. According to NSC president Nick Smith, the platform serves as a unified destination for trusted guidance, supporting the council's long-term mission to reduce preventable workplace injuries. The council plans to enhance the tool over the next year by incorporating AI-driven learning paths and expanding the network of participating organizations.
