The strategic move unites PwC India’s consulting business with the India-based capabilities of PwC US Advisory. By merging these resources, the firm intends to streamline services ranging from AI integration and engineering to high-level corporate strategy. Paul Griggs, CEO of PwC US, noted that the platform is designed to eliminate the traditional separation between market relationships and delivery, allowing the firm to deploy talent regardless of location. The integration is expected to bolster support for US-headquartered companies operating Global Capability Centers in India.
Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson of PwC India and incoming CEO of the new entity, described the venture as a milestone in the firm’s Vision 2030 strategy. He emphasized that the combination allows domestic clients to access global expertise while enabling the firm to scale its investments in AI and workforce development. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and is slated to close in the first half of 2027. Until the deal finalizes, both firms will continue operating under their current structures. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
