IM Cannabis to Execute 30-to-1 Reverse Stock Split

Faced with a sub-dollar share price, IM Cannabis Corp. is slashing its total outstanding common shares in a bid to satisfy Nasdaq’s minimum bid requirements. The company plans to consolidate its stock at a 30-to-1 ratio, aiming to artificially lift its trading price before the October 6 compliance deadline.

The board of directors confirmed the consolidation, which is expected to take effect on August 27, 2026. This maneuver will shrink the company's issued and outstanding common shares from approximately 18.1 million to roughly 603,922. While the ticker symbol IMCC will remain, the company will adopt new CUSIP and ISIN identifiers to reflect the restructured equity.

The initiative serves a singular purpose: meeting Nasdaq’s mandate that listed companies maintain a minimum closing bid price of US$1.00. To clear this hurdle, IM Cannabis must sustain that price threshold for at least ten consecutive business days. Management acknowledged that the consolidation does not guarantee compliance or continued listing on the exchange. Shareholders holding stock through intermediaries need not take action, as the adjustment will be handled automatically, while registered holders will receive instructions for certificate exchanges via Computershare.
