Jaguar Uranium Identifies 4-km Copper Trend at Huemul Project

Field sampling at the Huemul Uranium-Copper-Vanadium Project in Mendoza, Argentina, has uncovered a four-kilometer-long mineralized corridor. Jaguar Uranium Corp. reported final assay results reaching up to 8.54% copper, alongside significant uranium and vanadium values, as the company prepares for its maiden drill campaign in the region.

Jaguar Uranium Identifies 4-km Copper Trend at Huemul Project

The exploration program focused on surface mineralization across eight target areas, including the historic Huemul mine, which operated from 1955 to 1975. Recent analysis confirms high-grade potential, with copper values peaking at 8.54% and silver concentrations reaching 708 g/t. The company identified a distinct geological trend spanning the Uryco/Rosa and Black zones, where copper mineralization remains exposed at the surface.

Steven Gold, President and CEO of Jaguar Uranium, stated that these findings validate the strategic focus on the historic district. The company is now prioritizing a maiden drill program to test the depth and continuity of these targets. While historical production records indicate past yields of 0.21% uranium and 2.0% copper, management notes these figures serve as exploration context rather than current resource estimates. To ensure accuracy, the company utilized ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories and implemented a rigorous QA/QC process, including blank and duplicate sample assessments.
