Action1 Secures Top Spot on Inc. 5000 for Second Consecutive Year

A 4,512% three-year revenue surge has propelled Action1 to the top of the 2026 Inc. 5000 list as the fastest-growing founder-led cybersecurity company in the United States. This marks the second year in a row the Houston-based firm has claimed the title, underscoring a rapid market shift toward autonomous endpoint management.

The company’s growth is fueled by an industry-wide move away from legacy patch tools toward cloud-native alternatives. Action1’s platform, which automates OS and third-party patching without the need for manual scripts or on-premises infrastructure, currently maintains a 98% customer retention rate. This performance reflects a broader enterprise demand for systems that can identify and remediate vulnerabilities before they evolve into active breaches.

"We started Action1 with a vision of a world where cyberattacks exploiting vulnerabilities are entirely prevented across every device, operating system, and application," said Mike Walters, President and Co-founder of Action1. The company, led by industry veterans Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, currently offers its autonomous patch management services free of charge for the first 200 endpoints. This strategy allows IT and security teams to validate the software against their own environment, helping the firm scale its footprint among Fortune 500 organizations.
