Alarum Technologies Faces Class Action Lawsuit After FBI Proxy Probe

A 20.8% single-day stock plunge followed by a further 61.85% slide has triggered a class action lawsuit against Alarum Technologies Ltd. Investors now face an October 5 deadline to seek lead plaintiff status as legal teams investigate allegations of securities fraud linked to the company’s subsidiary, NetNut.

Alarum Technologies Faces Class Action Lawsuit After FBI Proxy Probe

The legal action, spearheaded by Pomerantz LLP, centers on the collapse of Alarum’s market value following reports of federal intervention. On July 2, 2026, news emerged that Google and the FBI had targeted a network used to route malicious traffic, specifically identifying NetNut’s residential proxy operations. This disclosure sent American Depositary Receipts tumbling from their previous standing to $6.35.

The situation intensified after-hours when Bloomberg revealed that the FBI was actively probing whether NetNut illicitly integrated home internet devices into a location-masking network without user consent. The U.S. Department of Justice confirmed the seizure of multiple domains tied to NetNut’s infrastructure. By the close of trading on July 6, the stock had plummeted to $3.06, prompting the current litigation to recover damages for affected shareholders.
