The awards program serves to highlight significant contributions to the society and the broader industry. This year’s recipients span categories ranging from technical achievement to mentorship and education. Thomas A. Hughes is recognized for his book, Measurement and Control Basics, Fifth Edition, while Jagdish Shukla receives the Enduring Society Service award. Other honorees include Pappa Natarajan for Excellence in Education, Dr. Swati Prashant Madhe for Mentoring, and Shahida Md Yusof for Technical Achievement. Graham Nasby and Pete Vande Visse share the Excellence in Standards honor.
Beyond individual accolades, the society is celebrating geographic sections in Malaysia, Pune, and Spain for their regional impact. The list of awardees also includes students Ana Medrano Valero, Ángela Blanco Pérez, and Paula Francisca Moreno Prieto, alongside Volunteers of the Year Álvaro Raimúndez Martínez, Armando Gonzalez, H S Pansare, and Phillip Swinson. The recipients are set to be feted during the Honors & Awards Gala, scheduled for September 27–29, 2026.
