Military Veterans Open New PostNet Logistics Center in Alexandria

The owners, who bring a combined 25 years of military and government contracting experience to the venture, see the franchise as a way to leverage their background in logistics and mentorship. They plan to host a grand opening event on August 18 at 11 a.m., featuring participation from both the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce and the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

Beyond standard shipping and printing services, the partners intend to integrate the business into the local fabric by supporting organizations such as A Few Good MENtors and the D.C. Divas football team. Bill McPherson, Vice President of Franchise Development at PostNet, noted that the pair's leadership background positions the new site to become a primary resource for Alexandria’s professional community. The location is part of the broader Fortidia global network, which includes over 3,200 business solutions centers worldwide.
