TIA Scales Data Center Quality Initiative with Eighteen New Members

The incoming cohort includes firms such as Siemens, Bell Canada, Caterpillar, and CBRE, reflecting a broad cross-section of the digital infrastructure market. This collaborative effort seeks to establish a common framework for performance and reliability, addressing critical industry pain points. Recent internal polling indicates strong alignment, with over 90% of participating members confirming the working group is successfully targeting the sector's most persistent failure modes.

To facilitate this growth, TIA has launched two specialized sub-teams focused on the Code of Practice and formal training. Mike Regan of TIA will lead the certification governance structure, while Chad Kymal of OMNEX spearheads the development of role-based educational curricula. These teams are currently refining the draft standard, which utilizes agile development principles to shorten iteration cycles compared to traditional models. Members plan to convene in mid-September to finalize a unified draft, with the first official release of the DCE 9000 framework expected to provide a foundational benchmark for operational excellence.
