The transaction, valued at approximately $15.5 million in shares plus $5 million in cash, grants Blue Moon full ownership of the assets. The company intends to integrate four high-priority sites—the Oregon Mine in Colorado, Wildhorse Canyon in Idaho, the Williams project in Arizona, and Hub Mines in Nevada—into its Springer tungsten complex. These locations historically yielded high-grade ore during mid-20th-century conflicts, and Blue Moon plans to apply modern extraction techniques to unlock their remaining value.
Jason Dunning, who heads the company’s U.S. special projects, noted that the acquisition serves as a move to build a robust domestic platform for critical metals. Beyond tungsten, the company is evaluating the potential for antimony production, with plans to either supply third-party processors or develop a small-scale smelter at the Springer site. Blue Moon expects to finalize the deal in October 2026, with a dedicated team slated to begin advancing the key projects toward drilling stages over the next two years.
