Stan Bikulege, a principal at Lightview Capital, highlighted the firm's interest in InStore’s ability to navigate complex challenges, particularly regarding compliance and the evolving cybersecurity landscape. Richard Erickson, managing director at Lightview, emphasized that the investment aligns with the firm’s focus on service-driven platforms. Klar Ventures acted as the financial advisor during the transaction. InStore currently provides end-to-end infrastructure, from self-checkout systems to electronic shelf labels, for independent retailers.
