AMN Healthcare Reports Second Quarter Revenue of $673 Million

The Dallas-based workforce solutions provider posted a net income of $21 million, or $0.53 per diluted share, a sharp recovery from the $116 million net loss recorded during the same period in 2025. Adjusted EBITDA reached $73 million, reflecting a 26% year-over-year increase. CEO Cary Grace attributed the quarterly success to strong execution across travel, international nursing, and search solutions, noting that demand trends improved throughout the quarter and into July.

Segments showed varied performance: the Nurse and Allied Solutions division generated $422 million, an 11% increase over the previous year, though down sequentially due to the normalization of labor disruption events. Meanwhile, the Physician and Leadership segment saw search revenue climb 27% year-over-year. As of June 30, the company held $362 million in cash and maintained a leverage ratio of 1.5x. Looking ahead, AMN projects third-quarter revenue to range between $640 million and $655 million.
