University of Phoenix Leaders Appointed to CAHME Accreditation Roles

McCeil Johnson, vice president of Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance, joins the CAHME Accreditation Council, while Heather Steiness will serve on the organization's Candidacy Committee. These appointments place both leaders at the center of the review processes that determine the quality and accountability of management education for future healthcare professionals.

Steiness emphasized the necessity of preparing leaders capable of navigating shifting clinical and community demands. Johnson noted that the role allows the university to further its involvement in promoting consistent, high-level standards. These assignments follow a period of deepening cooperation between the two institutions; the University of Phoenix’s Master of Health Administration program earned a seven-year reaccreditation in 2022 and currently holds a designation in the CAHME Mentorship Circle, a program dedicated to sharing best practices and educational strategies.
