Mobile Communications America Awards $30,000 in Student Scholarships

The scholarship program serves children and grandchildren of the company’s team members, requiring applicants to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate significant community involvement. This year’s cohort includes three new recipients—Ansley Ray, Johnston Abrams, and Hadlee Sherman—alongside three returning students, Elle Hufhand, Kaitlyn Chauncey, and Parker Lindquist, who received renewal grants.

Ellen Cartee, Chief Human Resources Officer, noted that the selection process highlights stories of perseverance and ambition. Beyond the scholarship initiative, the foundation manages MCA Day Grants to fund nonprofit organizations championed by employees. The company, which provides integrated communication and security solutions to over 65,000 customers, intends to continue this expansion as part of its broader commitment to local community development.
