BitRaser Automates IT Asset Sanitization Through ServiceNow Integration

The integration embeds BitRaser’s diagnostic and erasure software directly into existing IT asset management pipelines. Before any data is scrubbed, the software pings ServiceNow to verify the device's status against organizational policy. If a technician attempts to use an unapproved erasure method, the system overrides the action to ensure consistent sanitization practices across all global locations.

Once a device is successfully wiped, the platform automatically updates the asset status and pulls detailed reports into the ServiceNow dashboard via the BitRaser Cloud API. Sunil Chandna, CEO of BitRaser, noted that this shift allows companies to standardize decommissioning operations and simplify audit readiness. The software is specifically tailored for government agencies, managed service providers, and IT asset disposition firms that must maintain strict adherence to standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
