Potomac Bank Appoints Tim C. Valentine to Lead Northern Virginia SBA Lending

Raymond Goodrich, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, noted that Valentine’s background aligns with the bank’s team-oriented culture. Before this appointment, Valentine held roles as an SBA Relationship Manager at National Capital Bank and served in portfolio management capacities at John Marshall Bank and Presidential Bank. He holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Moravian University, where he served as a football team captain.

Beyond his financial career, Valentine maintains a deep commitment to regional community service. He serves on the Board of Directors for Everyone Home DC and coaches with the Loudoun Sports Academy. Potomac Bank, a subsidiary of Potomac Bancshares, Inc., currently manages $981 million in assets and operates through a network of nine branches and two loan production offices across West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia.
