American Management Association Overhauls Project Management Curricula

The revised programs include Improving Your Project Management Skills, AMA's Comprehensive Project Management Workshop, and Essentials of Project Management for the Non-Project Manager. These courses represent the first stage of a broad initiative to modernize the association's training standards, ensuring practitioners can select the right approach based on specific team needs and project goals.

"Project management practices are changing, and professionals need training that reflects how projects are delivered today," said Manny Avramidis, President and CEO of AMA. By integrating these new standards, the association aims to equip leaders with the decision-making skills required to manage shifting priorities and stakeholder expectations. As a PMI Authorized Training Partner, AMA intends to continue reviewing its remaining portfolio to ensure all offerings remain relevant to current industry demands.
