CEO David Sewell credited the performance to the company's organic growth strategy, which saw double-digit expansion across four of its seven business units. The firm, which recently announced plans to acquire Element Solutions to bolster its footprint in data center cooling and semiconductor manufacturing, now expects full-year net sales between $4.125 billion and $4.185 billion.
While net income rose to $119 million from $97 million in the same period last year, margins faced pressure from planned plant turnarounds. The company maintains a strong liquidity position, reporting approximately $1.75 billion in available cash and credit, with a net leverage ratio of 1.3x. Looking ahead, management anticipates continued momentum as it integrates new high-performance material platforms into its global operations.
