The vertical drill hole reached a total depth of 146.93 metres, positioned roughly 100 metres north of the company's previous MM25-6 site. While the Upper Phosphate Zone showed strong grades, the Lower Phosphate Zone returned a concentration of 8.18% P2O5 over one metre. This latest intersection supports the company's broader stratigraphic model for the Meade Peak Member, which spans a significant phosphatic siltstone and phosphorite sequence.
Company CEO Robin Dow noted that the results bolster confidence in the property's potential, as exploration efforts shift toward a 1.5-kilometre strike extension currently being tested by hole MM26-10. Director and geologist Garry Smith described the findings as a reinforcement of the project's geological trend, dismissing previous lower-grade results as localized anomalies. The company continues to rely on independent analysis from ALS Laboratories to validate its findings under NI 43-101 reporting standards, with further results expected as the current drilling campaign progresses.
