Investors Face October Deadline in Alibaba Securities Class Action

Investors who purchased Alibaba Group Holding Limited securities between June 26, 2025, and June 24, 2026, have until October 5, 2026, to file as lead plaintiffs in a securities fraud lawsuit. The action, initiated by The Rosen Law Firm, centers on allegations that the company misled shareholders regarding its regulatory status.

Investors Face October Deadline in Alibaba Securities Class Action

The lawsuit contends that Alibaba failed to disclose critical information during the specified period, specifically regarding its ties to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). According to the complaint, these affiliations categorized the company as a Chinese military entity under the National Defense Authorization Act. Furthermore, the suit alleges that Alibaba concealed ongoing risks related to distillation attacks against third-party AI models, rendering public statements about business operations materially false.

Investors wishing to participate in the litigation may do so without incurring out-of-pocket expenses through a contingency fee arrangement. While the court has not yet certified a class, those who held securities during the window are eligible to seek compensation. Interested parties are directed to contact attorney Phillip Kim at The Rosen Law Firm to review their legal options before the October deadline.
