The project is designed to integrate sports, concerts, and corporate functions, tapping into the growing demand for MICE tourism—meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions—which is projected to reach over 950 billion dollars in Europe by 2033. Joaquin Martin, CEO Americas and Global Vice Chairman at Nomadar, noted that the site’s location offers connectivity and cultural appeal, positioning the arena as a year-round catalyst for regional economic activity.
Nomadar, a subsidiary of the soccer club Cádiz CF, intends for the arena to serve as a centerpiece of its global infrastructure strategy. With the land acquisition complete, the company is moving toward the next phases of development, including financing and strategic partnerships. The firm aims to leverage Spain's record-breaking tourism numbers, which saw 96.8 million international visitors in 2025, to anchor the facility as a major destination for both entertainment and professional events.
