The new practice aims to assist companies navigating the volatile intersection of global energy markets, shifting supply chains, and the weaponization of energy as a geopolitical tool. As demand for AI-driven infrastructure surges and competition for critical minerals intensifies, BGS intends to bridge the gap between energy market intelligence and U.S. government policy.
Clayton Seigle joins the firm following his tenure as a Senior Fellow and James R. Schlesinger Chair in Energy and Geopolitics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His background includes advising officials across the White House and the Departments of Treasury, Energy, and State, as well as leadership roles at Rapidan Energy Group, Vortexa, and IHS Markit.
