The tour, part of the "Discover Wuhan, Explore Opportunities in China" initiative, showcased a city transitioning from traditional manufacturing to high-end automation. Ambassadors and think tank experts from nations including Turkmenistan, Comoros, and Spain observed a robotic band performance and synchronized martial arts displays before moving to the Optics Valley.
At Wuhan Huaweike Intelligent Technology, the group examined the mechanics behind the local humanoid robot industry. The excursion also included a ride on a suspended monorail and a visit to the Voyah automobile plant, where automated guided vehicles manage production lines. Delegates noted the efficiency of these digitized systems, with several expressing interest in integrating Wuhan’s manufacturing models into their own international markets. Beyond the factory floors, the visitors pointed to the city's strategic position along the Yangtze and Han rivers as a catalyst for future foreign investment.
