According to the filing, the company allegedly manipulated time-keeping records by rounding meal period durations, effectively depriving workers of legal rest time and associated compensation. The complaint also highlights instances where staff worked shifts exceeding five or ten hours without receiving the legally required first or second meal breaks.

Beyond labor scheduling issues, the litigation addresses unreimbursed business expenses.
