Arctech Deploys Intelligent Tracking for Europe's Complex Solar Projects

Amid the intensifying demand for renewable energy across challenging terrains, Arctech showcased its Tracker+ Ecosystem at Intersolar Europe 2026. The Munich exhibition highlighted how the firm is moving beyond standard installations to address specific European hurdles, including mountainous landscapes, high wind-load regions, and the integration of agrivoltaics.

The company’s portfolio centers on four core technologies designed to withstand variable weather while maximizing energy yield. The SkyLine II system targets uneven ground, while the SkySmart II utilizes AI-driven tracking and automated wind stow protection to secure 2P solar arrays. These are complemented by the Star Shine autonomous cleaning robot and the SkyFlex cable mounting system, both aimed at reducing long-term maintenance costs and structural stress.

Arctech is validating these technologies at its verification base in Puertollano, Spain, ensuring systems perform under localized environmental conditions. This strategy has secured significant regional footprints, including major projects in Romania, Greece, and Poland. Chairman Cai Hao noted that as solar deployment shifts toward more complex sites, the focus must remain on reliability and engineering adaptability to sustain the continent's energy transition. Beyond Europe, the firm recently added 132 MW of new capacity through agreements in Türkiye and Zambia.
