Abby Perez Tapped to Lead Richman Group’s Southwest Expansion

Perez joins the firm following a tenure at Dominium, where she oversaw the execution of nearly 2,500 affordable units across multiple states. Her background includes navigating the intricacies of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments, tax-exempt bond financing, and complex municipal approvals. During her previous role, she notably managed the company’s first build-to-rent community and its inaugural new construction project in New Mexico.

Alex Popovic, Regional Vice President of Development, highlighted Perez’s proficiency in public-private partnerships as a critical component for the company's growth. For her part, Perez—an Arizona native and Arizona State University alumna—emphasized the necessity of high-quality apartment communities in addressing the region's long-term housing challenges.
