Kodex Automates Legal Data Requests to Combat Fraudulent Inquiries

With government data requests surging and AI-driven forgery threatening the integrity of law enforcement inquiries, Kodex has unveiled a verified, automated infrastructure designed to replace insecure email and fax-based workflows. The platform aims to secure the bridge between agencies and private companies through end-to-end auditability and AI-assisted processing.

Kodex Automates Legal Data Requests to Combat Fraudulent Inquiries

The infrastructure, introduced at the company’s Q2 keynote in Boston, addresses the rising volume of legal requests while mitigating the risk of fraudulent court orders. Kodex CEO Matt Donahue emphasized that the platform provides a verifiable rail for communication, contrasting it with the legacy systems that currently leave companies vulnerable to compromise.

Three core components define the new system. AI Structured Data automatically parses inbound requests, while the Intake Bridge enables direct system-to-system submissions, specifically aligning with the EU’s e-Evidence Regulation effective August 18, 2026. Additionally, a previewed Kodex MCP server allows internal AI agents to assist in preparing responses. Jesse Goodman, VP of Product Delivery, clarified that while the infrastructure handles the technical legwork, final authorization remains firmly in human hands. Currently, the Kodex Global Network connects 15,000 agencies and 150,000 investigators with the companies holding the requested data.
