By folding into the larger McKim & Creed infrastructure, DMP gains access to broader resources while maintaining the local presence of its offices in High Point and Winston-Salem.
Street Lee, CEO of McKim & Creed, highlighted the cultural alignment between the two firms as a primary driver for the deal. According to Mike Slusher, president of DMP, the merger serves to protect the legacy of his firm while scaling its ability to deliver complex projects. The acquisition fits into a broader strategy by the parent firm to accelerate growth across the Southeast through targeted investments in established professional teams.
