The company’s move into a cloud-based model follows 16 years of development with its existing Geonexus Integration Platform (GIP). While GIP remains a supported, core product for utilities and infrastructure providers, GIC introduces a specialized geospatial iPaaS—a platform that maintains spatial context during data transfers. By enriching records with location-based data, such as service territories or pressure zones, the system ensures that assets remain aligned across disparate enterprise applications.
At the conference, attendees visiting Booth #514 can preview the platform’s visual integration design and flow orchestration capabilities. According to CEO Skip Heise, the development addresses client demand for greater flexibility and modern integration patterns. The roadmap for GIC includes future support for AI-assisted tools, advanced data quality reporting, and an extensibility framework. Geonexus emphasizes that the transition to this new architecture is designed to be gradual, allowing current clients to integrate GIC into their workflows according to their own operational timelines.
