Scutum Digital Acquires Vermont-Based Home Security & Management Company

The acquisition integrates a UL Fire-approved Central Monitoring Station into Scutum’s existing network, which already includes Statewide Central Station and Visentry. By bringing the Vermont-based firm under its umbrella, Scutum aims to bolster its U.S. footprint, combining legacy experience with its proprietary AI-driven security platform. The move provides Scutum with a broader service suite, ranging from alarm monitoring and two-way audio to scheduled system testing.

Michael Vitarelli, CEO of Scutum North America, emphasized that the transition is designed to prioritize continuity for existing clients. Scott Trowbridge, representing the Vermont team, noted that the partnership provides the necessary backing to innovate and expand service capabilities while maintaining the reliability expected by their long-term customer base. This integration follows Scutum's broader branding consolidation of its U.S. monitoring assets earlier this year.
