The enhanced functionality integrates directly with AstreaX’s MAX DMV modernization platform, bridging the gap between static digital credentials and active transaction services. By connecting the wallet to state workflows, the system enables users to manage essential vehicle services instantly. Beyond local document storage, the platform is already being deployed through the Arizona Wallet in partnership with the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division, marking a shift toward real-time government service delivery.
Eric Jorgensen, CEO of AstreaX, noted that the wallet is evolving into an actionable hub rather than a mere digital storage space. The platform supports identity verification at over 250 TSA locations nationwide and adheres to international standards to ensure interoperability and data privacy. This expansion is part of a broader push by Michael Baker International to digitize government operations, ranging from public safety software to infrastructure management.
