CLEAR Targets 1997-Born Travelers in X-Men '97 Promotion

Born in 1997? CLEAR is betting on millennial nostalgia to push its premium airport services. The identity company is partnering with Marvel Animation to offer a complimentary VIP Concierge experience to CLEAR+ members who share a birth year with the iconic decade, coinciding with the second season of X-Men '97.

CLEAR Targets 1997-Born Travelers in X-Men '97 Promotion

Running from June 29 through July 6, the campaign rewards eligible members who pass through a CLEAR+ lane with a free booking of CLEAR Concierge. This service provides a dedicated ambassador to assist with luggage, check-in, and expedited passage through security checkpoints. The promotion serves as a promotional bridge for the series, which premieres its second season on Disney+ on July 1.

Beyond the concierge perks, the collaboration includes physical giveaways at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Travelers using the CLEAR+ lane at the hub will receive a special edition X-Men '97 Yearbook comic book while supplies last. According to Kyle McLaughlin, CLEAR’s EVP of Aviation, the timing is intended to ease the strain of peak summer travel by offering a frictionless airport experience. Holly Frank, VP of Global Marketing Partnerships at Disney, noted that the crossover aims to blend 1990s nostalgia with modern travel convenience.
