The new campaign consists of eight drillholes designed to test both known mineralization extensions and fresh anomalies identified through recent geophysical surveys. Previous work at the site, located within the Iberian Pyrite Belt, revealed significant copper and gold grades, including 20 meters at 0.5% copper and 0.8 g/t gold in hole CHD05. Despite these early successes, the majority of the three-kilometer target remains largely untested, providing substantial room for further discovery.
To support these efforts, Pan Global has deployed high-resolution SQUID IP and Audio Magnetotelluric surveys, which have successfully pinpointed new chargeability-high and resistivity-low anomalies. These findings suggest a more expansive mineralized system than previously understood. Beyond the immediate drilling, the company is preparing for a helicopter-borne electromagnetic and magnetic survey in July across the expanded Escacena South area. Permitting is also underway for high-priority targets at Trinidad and Carmen, where historical mine workings coincide with promising gravity signatures.
