Oppenheimer Reaches $70 Million Settlement in Cash Sweep Class Action

Judge Jed S. Rakoff is scheduled to hold a fairness hearing on September 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse. The court will evaluate whether the $70 million settlement is adequate, approve the distribution plan for the net proceeds, and address requests for attorney fees and expenses. While class members are not required to attend the hearing to receive a payment, they must file a valid claim form by September 17, 2026, to qualify for a distribution.

Those who prefer to opt out of the settlement must submit a written request for exclusion by August 27, 2026.
