The work will be managed from Aker Solutions’ St. John’s office in Newfoundland and Labrador, utilizing a team of approximately 120 personnel across onshore and offshore sites. This agreement deepens a partnership that began in 2005, during which the firm provided key technical support, including recent life-extension efforts for the SeaRose vessel and installation work for the West White Rose platform.
Paal Eikeseth, Executive Vice President of Aker Solutions' Life Cycle business, emphasized that the project relies on the company’s established multidisciplinary execution model to maintain safety and efficiency standards. The contract is scheduled to be booked as order intake during the second quarter of 2026, reinforcing the company's long-term commitment to the Canadian offshore market.
