Central to the two-day program were demonstrations of advanced procedural techniques, such as combining atrial fibrillation ablation with left atrial appendage occlusion to lower stroke risk in a single session. Surgeons also spotlighted pulsed field ablation, a method utilizing short-duration electrical pulses to neutralize erratic heart tissue without the thermal risks associated with traditional heat or cold-based tools.
The symposium featured contributions from elite medical institutions, including the Cleveland Clinic and Italy's Centro Cardiologico Monzino. The instruction was led by a broad panel of TCAI specialists, including Dr. Amin Al-Ahmad and Dr. John Allison, providing attendees with up to 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit hours.
