Janssen Auto Group Acquires Gregg Young Chevrolet in Nebraska

The Chevrolet location will undergo a rebranding to become Janssen Kuenle Chevrolet, maintaining its current site in Plattsmouth. This acquisition brings the Janssen group’s total count to nine franchised dealerships across Nebraska, building on a family business history that dates back to 1971. Dave Janssen, who joined the firm in 1998, continues to oversee the group's regional growth.

Gregg Young Automotive Group, which operates 12 locations across three states, cited long-term trust in their advisors as a catalyst for the sale. The deal was managed by Paul Kechnie, Matt Willis, and Jamie Farley of Performance Brokerage Services, who acted as exclusive sell-side advisors. This divestiture allows the Gregg Young group to refine its portfolio, following years of expansion that earned founder Gregg Young a 2016 nomination for the TIME Dealer of the Year award.
