Since launching operations at the end of 2021, HiTHIUM has scaled its manufacturing and delivery capabilities with unusual speed. The company climbed from a fifth-place global market ranking in 2023 to secure the second spot by the first half of 2026. This expansion relies heavily on its Chongqing facility, recognized as the industry’s first battery-focused lighthouse factory, which serves as the anchor for the firm’s end-to-end supply chain integration.
Jason Wang, co-founder and CEO, emphasized that the industry has moved beyond simple product competition. Success now hinges on the synergy between innovation, system reliability, and value-chain responsibility. Moving forward, the company plans to focus on its kAh-class long-duration energy storage (LDES) solutions. By leveraging its Xiamen headquarters alongside international localization efforts, HiTHIUM intends to reinforce its global resource allocation, aiming to make long-duration storage a foundational element of modern power grids.
