The certification marks the culmination of a six-month effort since the company joined Project Hosts' Early Start program in April 2026. For government departments currently relying on fragmented spreadsheets and disconnected legacy systems, the platform offers a centralized workspace to align investments with mission outcomes. Scott Hebert, CEO of OnePlan, stated that the certification removes the traditional trade-off between sophisticated capability and the rigorous security requirements demanded by federal oversight.
Functionally, the platform integrates Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) with earned value reporting, allowing agencies to track expenditures against appropriations in real time. The system supports agile, waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies while incorporating Sofia AI to automate status reporting and flag budget variances. By integrating directly with Microsoft 365 tools like Teams and Azure DevOps, the software aims to minimize adoption friction for project teams. This move positions the platform as a direct response to the pressure on federal leaders to provide audit-ready transparency for every dollar and hour obligated to mission-critical programs.
